Description:

'Blaen y Nant' is a working hill farm high in the mountains of Snowdonia National Park. The farm keeps a hefted flock of Welsh mountain sheep and a pedigree herd of Welsh black cattle. The farmer, Mr Thomas,is now farms organically with native breeds of sheep and cattle. He has been ran the business for 40 years and contributed his life to preserve species-rich pasture, moorland and habitats for birds such as the rare ring ouzel.

He works 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Sadly, the recession crisis in Britain might force him to retire himself without the next generation continue this unique farm.
